*ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON DECEMBER 22. YOU CAN STILL REGISTER ON SITE AT THE CONFERENCE, BUT PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOUR HOUSING ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE PRIOR TO ARRIVING.*
We will meet at the Qwest Center, an upscale convention center with plenty of room for our growing group. Our desire is to keep the “family” feel of Tan-Tar-A. We will also enjoy fellowship during lunch and dinner together daily at the Qwest Center. Attendees will stay at any of 9 area hotels. Most are within a few blocks of the meeting space. Look at the housing portion of the website to choose your hotel. View Recommended Housing
Faithwalkers West will begin at 7:30pm on Sunday, Dec. 27 (with registration starting at 3pm), and end around 9:30pm on Wednesday, Dec. 30. We suggest an overnight stay on Dec. 30, checking out Dec. 31, but there are NO meetings on Dec. 31. The six meals begin with lunch Monday, December 28, and end with Wednesday dinner, December 30.
Because we value strong families so much, we strongly encourage parents to attend with their children.
No one 13 or younger can attend the conference without a parent or official guardian.
A person over 13 and under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or official guardian, or be chaperoned by a person who is at least 25 years old, preferably another parent who is also bringing his/her teen.
Every parent of a child (under 18) attending the conference must sign the Family Responsibility Acknowledgment form, recognizing that he/she will take responsibility for the oversight of the child. (If a parent is bringing more than one child, only one form per family needs to be filled out). Please click on the "Consent Forms" tab to the left for more information.
In the case of a teen being chaperoned, one of the parents sending the child and the person assuming responsibility for the child must sign the Chaperone Forrm and Medical Release Form, acknowledging this chaperone arrangement. Please click on the "Consent Forms" tab to the left for more information.
A person cannot chaperone more than 4 teens. (For example, two children with two of their friends, max., or one child with 3 friends, max.)
